Joshua Darnell Minard, 40, of Canton, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday, April 9th, at home. Born in Canton, on September 24, 1983, a son of Charlotte (Mayle) and Charles Minard. Preceded in death by grandfather Cletus Mayle, grandparents Eugene and Virginia Minard, cousin Warren Hess, 2 uncles Keith Mayle, Timothy Mayle and Ronald Mayle. Beside his parents, Josh is survived by his loving wife, Shantelle (Hardy) Minard; sister Chasity (Eddie) Dalton; brother Brian (Kasey Poland) Minard; grandmother Elizabeth Mayle; 4 nieces and nephews Lexy, Katie, Kylee, and Dominic; great niece Aunah; 2 great nephews Bryson and Levi; the Hardy family, Mayle family, and the Minard family; as well as many other family members and friends, including beloved dogs Babygirl and Capone. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, April 16th, in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home from 6 pm until 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, on Wednesday, April 17th, in the Canton Freewill Baptist Church, 2817 Harmont Ave NE, Canton, Ohio 44705, with Pastor Anthony Mayle officiating. Burial will follow services at Evergreen Memorial Gardens of Louisville. A dinner will be held following the burial.
