Judith F. Lantz, 76, of Canton, passed away Sunday, May 20th, at her residence. Born in East Cleveland on September 30, 1941, a daughter of the late Howard and Virginia (Howe) Lantz, also preceded in death by 2 sisters Donna Mae Tausz, Lucinda Rutherford,  and brother in law John Rutherford. Employed as a professor of English at Kent State University as well as dialysis technician. She was active in the chorale group, Serenity Singers, and was dedicated to helping others especially through her work in support groups and Meals on Wheels. Survived by brother in law William Tausz; nieces and nephews Kimberly (Tausz) Drugan,Greg Drugan, Michael (Judy) Tausz, Laura Lee Shaw, and Robert Shaw; great nieces and nephews Rachel and Sarah Drugan, Brian Ferrell, and Justin Shaw. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Meals on Wheels. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
