Judith "Judy" Stauffer, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on November 7, 2025, at the age of 80. Born in Canton on October 18, 1945 to the late Joseph and Lena (Altieri) Malatesta. Judy was a lifelong resident of her cherished hometown, where she made countless memories and touched the lives of those around her. Judy was a vibrant soul, known for her love of family and friends. Judy was still employed at Judy's Family Restaurant, where she enjoyed working her three days a week. The restaurant was named after her by the owners and dear friends. She enjoyed taking annual girls' trips during the Christmas season, creating bonds and joyful memories that will last a lifetime. Traveling to Las Vegas with her family and friends brought her immense happiness, combining her love for gambling and cheer. Judy was also an incredible cook, delighted in sharing her culinary creations with loved ones at family gatherings. Her heart truly belonged to her grandchildren, Nickolas and Madison Stauffer. They brought her endless joy and were the center of her world. She cherished every moment spent with them, always eager to share stories, laughter, and, of course, delicious meals made with love. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Fred "Butch" Stauffer; daughter, Tanya Stauffer; son Joe (Kelly) Stauffer; niece Peggy Haring; and her treasured grandchildren Nickolas (Olivia) Stauffer and Madison Stauffer. She leaves behind a family forever grateful for the love and warmth she so generously shared.

She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her vibrant spirit, loving nature, and the countless smiles she gifted to those who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life. Her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, dear Judy.
