Karen Louise Way, 61, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, December 12th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Canton on December 6, 1962, a daughter of Patricia (Phillippi) and the late Robert Homer Carnes, also preceded in death by half brother John Peebles of Texas and niece Kendra Carnes. She is survived by son Christian Way; 3 sisters Cindy Caldwell, Vicki Blackburn, Cheryl Clarke; brother Robert Carnes all of Canton as well as many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday January 5th, 2024 in the Trinity Gospel Temple with Pastor Dana Gamill officiating. Calling hours will be held at 10 AM. A memorial dinner will follow services.
