Karl A. "Butch" Kraus Jr. was born on January 7, 1949 and went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2024. Karl worked for the City Of Canton Street Department for 36 years, after retiring he ran for Canton City Council and served for a few years. He then took a job with Perry Township as a part time assistant Zoning Inspector. Karl also volunteered for several years with the Canton Ex-newsboys. Preceded in death by his father Karl A. Kraus Sr, mother Estella (Grego) Kraus and sister Sue C. Bourquin. Survived by his wife of 16 years Beth Kraus; sister Mary Makucin; daughter Lisa Youngman-Kraus; son Jason Kraus; daughter-in-law Amy Kraus; daughter Brajena Dramble; 3 grandsons Joseph Pattison IV, Ashton Kraus, Carter Lenartowicz; granddaughter Jennifer Pattison; great grandson Hunter Kraus; 3 great granddaughters Grace Pattison, Faith Pattison, Lilith Pattison as well as many other family members and friends. Per Karl's request no calling hours or funeral services will be held.
