Katherine Ludwig, 89, of Canton, passed away Monday, February 27th, 2012 peacefully at Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness.
Katherine was born in Belmont County, on May 30, 1922, the daughter of the late William and Stella (Porter) Douglass, also preceded in death by her husband Charles M. Ludwig to whom she married June 1, 1947, died August 15,2007 and 4 brothers. A member of the Crystal Park United Methodist Church of Canton, and the Northeast Retirement Club.
Survived by 2 Sisters Virginia (Charles) Kopf of Canton, Lena Locke of Tualatin, Oregon, also numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday March 2nd., in the Crystal Park United Methodist Church, with Rev. Carolyn Nichols officiating. Friends may call 6-8 PM on Thursday, in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Burial at Greentown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Crystal Park United Methodist Church, 2219 Mahoning Rd. NE, Canton, OH 44705.
