Kenneth M. Gessel

Kenneth M. Gessel, 91, of Canton passed away Monday, May 28th, at Aultman Hospital  following a brief illness.

Kenneth was born in Macksburg, Ohio on September 27, 1920, the son of the late T.M.  and May (Minchs) Gessel , also preceded in death by his wife Effie (Warmick) Gessel in 1983 and two infant daughters.

Retired as a sheet metal worker from Bliss Manufacturing in Canton and was a 32 degree mason with the F&AM Lodge in Cambridge.

Survived by his caregivers Lloyd and Anita Mayle of Canton,  a son Kenneth (Donna) Gessel, a daughter Jeannette (Steve) Italia both of Canton; 5 granddaughters and several great grandchildren.


Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday May 31st in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home,  with Rev. Marvin "Jack" Mayle  officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Thursday.  Burial in North Lawn Cemetery.
