Obituary

Kenneth "Buzz" Judy, known as "Buzzy" to his grandchildren, 67, passed away on Monday, February 9th in his home. Born in Canton on January 12th 1959, he was the son of the late Eugene and Nancy (Baxter) Judy. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife Sandra Mayle, sisters Sandy Womack, Jennifer Gnes, brothers Jeff Judy and Jeep Judy. A true artist at heart, Buzz found joy in drawing and sculpting, bringing imagination to life with his hands. Whether sketching intricate designs or shaping something beautiful from clay, he had a gift for seeing art in the ordinary and turning it into something extraordinary. Rock music fueled his soul, especially the powerful sounds of Metallica. He also enjoyed playing the guitar. Buzz was known for his playful spirit. A natural jokester, he could light up any room with his humor. He loved to party, celebrate life, and make sure everyone around him was having a good time. His grandchildren adored him, not just for the fun nicknames and the teasing, but for the tickles, the laughter, and the way he made each of them feel special. To them, he will forever be "Buzzy," the grandpa who could turn any ordinary day into an adventure. Buzz also enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, expressing his love through food. He enjoyed cooking hearty meals and baking sweet treats to share with family and friends. Some of his most treasured moments were the quiet evenings spent with his beloved wife, curled up together watching sci-fi movies, escaping into distant galaxies and imaginative worlds. Buzz's life was a masterpiece painted with humor, music, art, and deep love for his family. He will be remembered for his creative spirit, his playful heart, and the warmth he brought into every room. Though he may be gone from our sight, his laughter echoes on, his art lives on, and the love he gave will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him. Survived by step-daughter Shannon (Joshua) Brownfield; 2 step-sons Shawn Poling, Charles Poling; 3 sisters Jeanie Curlutu, Robin Swogger, Brenda Husk; plenty of grandchildren; niece Amanda Judy; 2 great-nephews Baby Nate, Aidan; as well as other loving family members and friends.
