Kenneth J. Ross, 90, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, December 25th, at home. Born in Phillipi, WV on April 24, 1929, a son of the late William and Estaline (Hunter) Ross, also preceded in death by his wife Mathilda (Newman) Ross, passed away 2015, son Timothy Ross, 5 sisters Marie, Doris, Nina, Janet, Pauline, 2 brothers Robert, and Richard. Kenneth proudly served in the U.S Army. Survived by 3 daughters Beverly (Willie) Ellis, of Jackson, Charlene Ross, Pamela Ross;  son Kevin Ross, all of Canton; 14 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; as well as many other nieces; nephews; loving family members; and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Monday, December 30th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Edith McCartney and Pastor Al Walker officiating. Friends may call on Sunday, December 29th from 7PM to 9PM, also in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery.
