Laura M. (Mayle) Scott

Laura M. (Mayle) Scott, 73, of Canton passed away on Sunday, August 25, in Aultman Hospital following a one-year illness. Laura was born in Zanesville, Ohio on November 20, 1939, the daughter of the late Charles Enis and Alpha (Jackson) Mayle. Preceded in death by her husband Alfred R. Scott, a son Todd, a daughter Ann Marie, and a brother Delbert Mayle.  She was a member of Solid Rock Fellowship Church of Hartville.

Survived by  two daughters Tracy L. Scott of Canton, Kelly L. Morgan of the home; son Schon S. Scott of Canton; three sisters Charlotte Mayle of Bellevue, FL, Donna (Michael) Mayle of Warsaw, Saundra (John) Cenkner of Canton, two brothers Walter (Patricia) Wilson and Charles (Linda) Mayle both of Canton; five grandchildren Ricki Hooper, Perry Scott, Tasheena Jones, Aaron Barfield and Leschon Scott; three great-grandchildren, Malik and Andrew Jones, Ramaiya Lynn Scott, as well as a host of family and friends.

Friends and family may call Friday, August 30 from 6-8 PM in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM with one hour viewing prior, on Saturday, August 31, in the Solid Rock Fellowship Church of Hartville; Pastor Marvin Thomas officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Memorial Gardens.
