Lewis Barnett

Lewis "Bob" Barnett, 89, of Canton passed away Tuesday, June 10 th , at his residence. Bob was born in Kingwood, WV on April 16, 1925, the son of the late Robbie H. and Hattie M. (Randall) Barnett; also preceded in death by five sisters Mary Taylor, Beulah Hall, Viola Barnett, Betty Barnett, Marlene Barnett; five brothers French Barnett, John Barnett, Donnie Barnett, Earl Barnett, and James "Eddie" Barnett. He served in the U.S. Army in WW II.

Survived by three daughters Nina (Antwoine Caddell) Barnett, Kathryn (Angelo Sr.) Powell, and Bobbie "Rene" Barnett all of Canton; Joyce "Judy" Post the mother of his daughters; three sisters Florence (Donald) Garrett of Pittsburgh, PA., Ruth Barnett of Kingwood, WV., Rena Barnett of Elyria; and sister-in-law Catherine Barnett; six grandchildren Christopher, Brandi, Angelo Jr., Jeron, Makayla, and Nicholas; 4 great-grandchildren Jaionna, Tae'vier, Kaidyn, and Kadience; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held in the Browning Funeral Home, Kingwood, WV, Monday, June 16 at 1pm.

Friends may call on Friday June 13 from 6-8pm in the Waltner - SIMCHAK Funeral Home.
