Linda Dora Mayle, 65, of Canton, passed away Saturday, December 4th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on July 17, 1956, a daughter of the late Nony and Jessie (Harbin) Newman, also preceded in death by 2 brothers Terry Harbin and Nony Lee Newman. A member of Cathedral of Life Church of Canton. Survived by loving husband of 50 years, married 1971, Wilford L. Mayle; daughter Lacy (Jeremy) Velton, of Canton; son Eugene Timothy Mayle, of the home; 2 sisters Dottie (Bob) Witts, Jeanie (Bill) Ward, 3 brothers Denzil McCauley, Stewart (Cindy) Harbin, all of Canton, Roger, of Akron and 6 grandchildren Khloe Velton, Tyler Mayle, Austin Mayle, Jessica Mayle, Malachi Mayle, Lila Mayle as well as 4 great-grandchildren Aiden Cook, Desmond Mayle-Moore, Jayden Mayle and Brayden Mayle. Funeral services will be held at 1PM in the Canton Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Jacobs officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to services. Burial to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
