Linda J Newman, 69, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, January 27th, at Altercare of Louisville. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on February 22, 1948, a daughter of the late Pansy (Minard)  and Denzil  Mayle, also preceded in death by sister Juanita Mayle; brothers Alfred Mayle, Wilford Mayle, and Julius Mayle. Besides her husband, Kenny  Newman, she is survived by a brother Michael (Carmen) Mayle; and numerous nieces; nephews; family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, January 30th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Mayle, Millie Oliver, Pastor Daniel Wilfong, and Bishop Marvin "Jack" Mayle officiating. Friends may call from 10 AM to 1 PM also on Tuesday, January 30th in the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Louisville.The family would like to wish a special thanks to Rose Mayle, Jody Boron, Della Mayle, David Newman, and Dee.
