Lois M Shepherd, 82, of Canton, passed away Sunday, April 14th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Detroit, Michigan on September 23, 1936, a daughter of the late Edmund and Marie (Ball) Demeulenere, also preceded in death by sister Ida Demeulenere. Employed as a social service worker at Stark County Department of Human Services for 30 years before retiring in 1992. Survived by daughter Nancy (Charles) Mayle, of East Canton; 2 sons Michael Shepherd, of Portland, OR. Shawn Shepherd, of Canton; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson. No services will be held at this time. The family requests that any donations be made to the National Wildlife Federation in Lois' honor.
