Lora L. Sams-Matyas, 66, of Canton, passed away Monday, August 19th, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton, on August 2, 1958, a daughter of the late Forest G. and Cornelia B. (Stutler) Sams. Also preceded in death by husband Benjamin Matyas, sister Kelly Childress, 6 brothers Butch Sams, Richard Sams, Frank Sams, Victor Sams, Rick Sams and Fred Wilson. Survived by daughter TequilaMarie Sams; son Jeffery Duff; 2 sisters Robin (Ralph Wells) Sams, Linda Mayle-Stidom; 3 grandchildren Heaven lee Thompson, Brady William Allen Forrester, Karol Lynn Forrester; Melvin Duff the father of her children as well as other family members and friends. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
