Lynn Harold Thellman, 70, of Canton, passed away Thursday, February 6th, at home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Minerva, on February 12, 1954, a son of the late Harold and Darlene (Hinton) Thellman. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by long time friend Jim. Lynn was a very caring and devoted friend. He graduated from Minerva High School in 1972. Then went on to College at Kent State University where he obtained his Associate of Applied Science in Criminology and Justice Studies in 1976, he further continued his education and received an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing in 1991. Working at Doctors Hospital as a RN from 1991-1995 before becoming the Director of Nursing at ResCare formally known as Voca Corporation in 1995 for 20 plus years before retiring. Survived by many devoted friends, family members and his beloved pets Cinnamon and Teddy. A funeral Service will be held in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral home on Wednesday, February 12th at 12 PM with Chaplain Paul Amann officiating. Family and friends may call 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Smile For a Child Foundation or to the Mercy Ships Charity, in Lynn's honor.
