Madge Y. "Judy" Newman, 77, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, July 11th, at Aultman Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on May 27, 1941, a daughter of the late Ellis and Dovie Kennedy, also preceded in death by 3 sisters Barbara Schloeder, Virginia Mayle, Shirley Mayle, and 3 brothers Harry Kennedy, James Kennedy, Steward Kennedy. Self employed as a housekeep for many years. Besides her husband of 57 years, Howard J. Newman she is survived by 3 daughters Dena Mayle, Kimberly (Garold) Mayle, Kristi Newman; son Douglas Newman; sister Vicky (Wayne) Hinton, all of Canton; brother Roger (Vicky) Kennedy, of Flemington, WV; 4 grandchildren JD, Desiree, Abby, and Ivy; many nieces; nephews; family; and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, July 14, 2018 in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Mayle officiating. Friends may call from 10 AM until time of service.
