Madlee Mayle, 86, of Canton, passed away Monday, March 6th, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on June 5, 1936, a daughter of the late Darl and Bertha (Johnson) Newman, also preceded in death by her husband Virgil Lee Mayle, sister Rosetta; 2 brothers Osgood, Carol; 2 grandsons Aaron and Perry. She was a member of the Apostolic Believers Church of Canton Survived by daughter Alesia (Perry) Martin, of Canton; son Kirby Lee (Melodi) Mayle, of Canton; brother Lester (Sue) Newman, of Canton; 4 grandchildren Tiffany, Hilary, Kirby Seth and Storm as well as 5 great-grandchildren Isaiah, Joseph, Amara, Gabriel, Gabe and other family members and friends. A private burial was held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

She loved everyone the best way she knew how.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Isaiah and Joseph who would eat supper, watch tv, sit and talk with her. Also to Perry and Hilary Martin, Storm and Stacy (Schehel) Martin, who would either run errands or sit with her, so that she wouldn't be alone. Appreciation is also extended to Irene Mayle, Edith McCartney, Mannibel Mayle, Louella Collins, Della Mayle, Ronnie Mayle, and Allie Walker for their phone calls and visits. Finally, the family would like to thank nurse Kelly from Aultman Hospice, who always returned a phone call or text, making sure to go above and beyond.
