Margaret Adelena Gracia, 93, of Canton passed away Friday, October 11th. Born in Canton, on November 4, 1930 daughter of the late Andre` and Mae (Gardner) Borges Perry. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by husband Benjamin (Benny), daughter Ricarda Johnson, son Benjamin Gracia, 2 sisters Mary Fontes, JoAnn Williams; 3 brothers Cornell Perry, Manuel Perry, Joseph (Brenda) Perry, 2 sons in law William Johnson, Albert Wilson and sister in law Debra Perry. Margaret was a devoted member of the former St. Paul's Catholic Church which merged with Christ The Servant Parish where she was a choir member. She retired from The Timken Company and remained active in her volunteer work with numerous organizations including Canton Board of Elections, Pro Football Hall of Fame, Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary where she served as Grand Lady of Region N. Margaret is survived by 3 daughters Denise (Reggie) Kelley, of Farmington Hills, MI., Michele Gracia, of Hillsborough, NJ., Stephanie (Charles) Gracia, of Canton; 3 sons Roland (Doris) Gracia, of Mesa AZ., Philip (Janet) Gracia, of St. Paul, MN., Wayne Scott (Teresze) Gracia of Canton; sister Evelyn (Jeff) Gamble of Canton; 4 brothers John (Sandra) Perry of Canton, David (Nancy) Perry, of Dayton, Stephen (Sondra) Perry, of Canton, Michael Perry, of Canton; daughter in law Elaine Gracia; 24 grandchildren and numerous great and great, great grandchildren, life long friend Ruth Ramos, as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Calling hours will be held in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home on Friday, October 18th from 6 PM - 8 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 19th, 11 AM at Christ the Servant Parish, 833 39th St NW, Canton, Ohio 44709, with Monsignor Lewis F. Gaetano as celebrant.
