Obituary

Margie Dostal, 92, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, December 14th, at Altercare of Louisville nursing home following a lengthy illness. Born in Washington, PA on October 4, 1925, a daughter of the late Elizabeth (Kader) and Julius Simon; also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dostal, who passed away in 1975, sisters Elizabeth Bertovich, Gertie Dover, Rose Rock, Helen Dover, Mary Myers, Julia Steiger-Poling, brothers Julius Simon Jr. and Steve Simon. Employed as a meat cutter for Fazio's Grocery Store of Canton for 20 years and retired in 1989. Margie was also a member of the former Calvary Presbyterian Church of Canton. Survived by a daughter Denise (Tim) George, son Dennis (Carolyn) Dostal, sister Kathleen Shepherd, brother John (Mary) Simon, all of Louisville, step-son Joseph (Jackie) Dostal Jr., of Plymouth, MI; also survived by 2 grandchildren Nicole (Damian) Hollar, Amanda George, 2 step grandchildren Joni and Joe, a great-grandson, and 3 step great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11am Tuesday, December 19th, in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home with Matthew Conley officiating, with burial to follow in Warstler Cemetery.
