Marion J. "Sue" Mayle, 71, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, July 18th, at Summa Akron City Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on February 21, 1947, a daughter of the late Samuel A. and Macel L. (Newman) Croston, also preceded in death by a sister-in-law Pat, a brother-in-law Jerry, and a niece Mendy Sue. Employed as a custodian for many local businesses before retiring in 2013 and a member of the Apostolic Holiness Church. Survived by 2 sisters Brenda Krauss and Charlotte Newman, both of Green; 2 brothers Harvey Croston, of Zanesville and Larry (Joy) Croston, of Akron; along with many nieces; nephews; and church family members. Funeral service will be held Noon on Tuesday, July 24th at Apostolic Believers Church, 2702 Long Ave NE Canton, Ohio 44705, with Rev. Terry Newman and Rev. Ron Cindia officiating. Friends may call from 5pm to 8pm on Monday, July 23rd in the Waltner - SIMCHAK Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Tuesday in the church.
