Marilyn "Cookie" D. (Harmon) Ferre, age 63, of Massillon passed away on January 29th, 2024. Born in Massillon on January 16th, 1961, a daughter of the late William and Marilyn (Stephan) Harmon. She was a 1979 graduate of Massillon Washington High School. She was a proud life long resident of Massillon and spent most of her career at Massillon City Hospital as a nutritionist. Marilyn loved the outdoors, especially camping and going for long walks. A very family oriented person, she loved spending time with family, friends, and her beloved dogs. Her time was always best spent around the holidays and family cookouts. Always willing to help others with open arms to all her loved ones. She is survived by her brother Keith (Tammara) Harmon; three loving sons Zachariah Puddock, Jeremiah Puddock, and Luke Puddock; three cherished grandchildren, Cleo Dougan, Caiteliyn (Mark) West, and Mckenzie Puddock; one great grandchild, Elijah West. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, William S. Harmon and sister Pamela Lynn. Calling hours will be held from 5PM to 8PM on Thursday, February 8th, in the Waltner Simchak Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, Febuary 9th, in the Brookefield Cemetery of Massillon. A memorial celebration will also be held at a later date.
