June 10, 2023, Mark Kenton Spencer, 65 passed away at home with his beloved wife Vitina by his side, holding his hand. Born October 30th, 1957 to Dorothy and Willis Spencer. He was one of 9 children whose parents taught them to love nature and explore from the many trips they took and time spent in Hocking Hills. Mark earned his bachelors, 1990, then master's, 1995, from Franklin University, leading him on a journey into logistics and warehousing. He opened a number of distribution centers and ended his career with Lenox Distribution in Hagerstown, Maryland as Vice President of distribution, where he made many friends and long lasting relationships. Mark was an outstanding pool player and was in many leagues and won multiple awards. Mark was a loving father, step father and grandfather, but most of all, a devoted and loving husband to wife Vitina Spencer. He will be remembered for his love of life, giving spirit and love for family. He truly loved with all his heart and soul. He is preceded in death by father Willis Ward Spencer; mother Dorothy (Westenberger) Spencer and sister Marcia (Spencer) Harper. He sadly leaves behind his wife Vitina; daughters Rose, Kara; sons Ryan, Tyler, James; and grandchildren Jayden and Annie as well as many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. He will be missed dearly. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 17th in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home. Friends and family may call 2 hours prior also in the funeral home.
