Marlon Lamar Brooks, 33, of Canton, passed away Friday, August 26th. Born in Canton on December 6, 1988, a son of the late Gidget Marie Brooks and David Allen Taylor, also preceded in death by grandfather Grover Brooks; uncles Dwayne Brooks and Troy Brooks. He attended church at Gospel Temple Christian Fellowship of Canton when previously pastored by Bishop Henry Henderson Jr. and 1st Lady and Prophetess Shirley Henderson. Marlon was an academically intelligent man and he enjoyed cooking, dancing, baseball, football, and spending time with his family. He is survived by grandmother Barbara Brooks; 22 siblings; close family members Lachaela Brooks, Anastasia Jackson-Priester, Evangelia Jackson, Malachi Jackson, Jeremiah Jackson, Elijah Jackson, Malcolm Jackson, Bithiah Jackson-Thigpen, Davina and Perry Carlisle; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other family members and friends. No services are scheduled at this time.
