Martin Jacob Haas, 68, of New Philadelphia, passed away Monday, May 15th. Born in Louisville, Ohio on May 7, 1955, a son of the late Jacob and Lillian (Giesige) Haas, also preceded in death by infant sons Stephen and Shannon. Employed for over 40 years as bricklayer before retiring, he was associated with Bricklayers Union Local No. 6. Survived by daughter Amanda (Ralph) Weaver, of Waynesburg; 2 sons Travis Haas, of Massillon, Ryan Haas, of New Philadelphia; 2 sisters Carol (James) McCarthur, of Louisville, Susan Waller, of Canton; 2 brothers Jerry (Tammy) Haas, of Alliance, David (Sue) Haas, of Louisville; 7 grandchildren; as well as numerous family members; and friends. No services will be held at this time.
