Mary Carol Chovan, 72, of Massillon, passed away Thursday, May 23rd, at Cleveland Clinic Hospital. Born in New Philadelphia on November 4, 1951, a daughter of the late Harold and Mary (Holland) Billeter, also preceded in death by her husband Dave Chovan. Mary worked at Massillon Community Hospital for 21 years as a cook. Survived by 3 sons Rich Proper, Todd (Amanda) Proper, and Billy Proper; brother Dave (Debbie) Billeter; 5 grandchildren Josh, Ashley, Rhianna, Kevin, and Kayla; 6 great-grandchildren Theo, Adlea, Arhia, Tate, Tiller, and Drew; as well as many other family members and friends. A private service will be held at a later date. Heaven has gained an angel.
