Mary Lou Collard, 67, of Canton, passed away Friday, January 27th, at Astoria Skilled Nursing Facility. Born in Barberton, on June 1, 1955, a daughter of the late Robert "Jake" and Mary Evelyn (Lones) Gwinn. Survived by 2 daughters Kathryn Oakes, Stephanie (Ryan) Huberty; son Christopher Collard; 4 sisters Kathy (Dan) Herold, Patricia (Jack) Hardie, Valerie (John) McKnight, Michelle (Chuck) Mettler; 3 brothers Mark (Beth) Gwinn, Bob Gwinn, Steve (Ganine) Gwinn; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and beloved former husband Gary Collard; as well as other family members and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday ,February 4th from Noon to 1PM in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 1PM, also in the funeral home.
