Mary Elizabeth
Eddy
November 17, 1979 – May 1, 2026
Mary Elizabeth Eddy, 46, passed away on May 1st, 2026 at Aultman Hospital. Born in Canton, on November 17th, 1979, she was the daughter of the late Bert Sr. and Tammy (Weaver) Eddy. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Bert Eddy Jr. Mary's presence was one that could never go unnoticed. When she walked into a room, people knew it, not because she demanded attention, but because her energy, warmth, and unmistakable spirit naturally filled the space. She knew how to have fun and lived her life with a sense of joy that drew others in. She was a woman of deep character, honest, forgiving, and genuinely kind. Mary had a generous heart and gave freely of herself to those around her, always ready to listen, support, or simply share a laugh. Her outgoing nature made it easy for her to connect with others, and she left lasting impressions wherever she went. Above all, Mary loved her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud grandmother. Her children and grandchildren meant everything to her, and she found her greatest happiness in the moments spent with them. Whether through big celebrations or quiet everyday time together, she made sure her family always felt her love. Mary will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her forgiving spirit, and her genuine heart. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely and the many lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Survived by daughter Desiree (Scott Wheaton) Eddy; 2 sons Patrick (Jani) Miku, Brandon (Mercedes) Miku; sister Meredith Bugh; 9 grandchildren; as well as other loving family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
