Mary E. Hartman, 90, of Carrollton, passed away on Friday, March 18th, peacefully at Carroll Health Care Center of Carrollton, following a lengthy illness.

Mary was born in Carrollton, on  January 24, 1921, and had lived in the Canton area most of her life. She was the daughter of the late Harry and Velma (Carlisle) Dray, also preceded in death by her son, William Hartman, grandson Ronnie Hartman, son-in-law Theodore Mayle, and a brother Shannon Dray.

Mary retired from her career as a LPN Nurse in 1985 after 14 years of service with Aultman Hospital, where she was dedicated to helping others in their time of need.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Delores Mayle of Carrollton; brother Robert Dray of Canton, 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home, 11am on Monday, March 21st, 2011 with Rev. Patrick Mayle officiating. Friends are invited to call from 5-7pm on Sunday, March 20, in the funeral home. Burial will be at Forrest Hill Cemetery, Canton.
