Mary Opal Kirsch, 83, of Sherrodsville, formerly of Canton, passed away Sunday, January 22nd, at Bethany Nursing Home. Born in Canton, on April 27, 1939, a daughter of the late Ronald and Hazel (Heckaman) Bevington, also preceded in death by husband Robert M. Kirsch, daughter Renee Kirsch, 2 sisters Mildred Hann, Twila Bevington, and brother George Bevington. A dedicated member of Sherrodsville Wesleyan Church, she was employed as a housekeeper with Aultman Hospital for 25 years before retiring in 2014. Survived by 2 sons Troy (Barb) Kirsch, of Sherrodsville, Shawn (Missy Wasnak) Kirsch, of Canton; and 5 grandchildren as well as one great-grandson. A memorial service will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, January 31st in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home. Friends may call two hours prior to services.
