Mary Ellen Pinyan , 66, of Canton, passed away Monday, February 5th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 16, 1957, a daughter of the late John and Mary Ann (Vlk) Buday, also preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert E. Pinyan. Mary was a friend and mentor to many. She retired from Cleveland Public Schools after 20 years of service. Survived by daughter Kathleen (Bill) Hinamon; son Robert J. (Emilie) Pinyan; step-daughter Kayla (Jay) Amstutz; brother John (Jean) Buday; niece Melissa Buday; 4 grandchildren Sean Pettry, Adam Pettry, Isaiah Pinyan, and Logan Pinyan. A Memorial Service will be held from 1 PM- 3 PM, on Saturdy, April 13th, in the Charity Freewill Baptist Church.  Officiating will be Rev. Dave Hicks.
