Mary H. Porterfield, 87, of Canton, passed away Monday, July 29th, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Dolomite, Alabama on September 16, 1931, a daughter of the late Beatrice and Elsie (Hill) Trammel, also preceded in death by 4 sisters Mozell, Ruth, Ruby, Hazel; 3 brothers Melvin, James, and Alfred. Survived by 2 daughters Wanda Dillion, of Alabama, Carolyn West, of Canton; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
