Mary Eleanor Vogel, 76, of Canton, passed away Monday, August 30th, after a sudden illness at Mercy Medical Center surrounded by her loving children. Born in Cameron, West Virginia on February 25, 1945, a daughter of the late Harry and Nellie (Gilbert) Blake, also preceded in death by son Gary Huntsman; 5 brothers Walter, Allen, Norm, Richard, Vernon and 3 sisters Kathreen, Geneva and Barbara. A loyal member of the 38th St. Church of Christ, she was a loving mother, always putting family first, with a creative personality, especially for crafts and a fondness for long car rides. Survived by 3 daughters Margie (Jimmy) Hunt, Theresa Huntsman, all of Alliance, Lora "LuLu" (Brian) Santimarino, of Canton; 2 sons James (Carla) Huntsman, of Alliance, Steve (Terri) Huntsman, of Canton as well as 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 3rd in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with Pastor John Wright officiating. Friends and family may call 1 hour prior to services also in the funeral home. Burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens will follow services.
