Mary Louise Weir, 84, of Canton passed away on Thursday, January 22nd, at Mercy Hospital. Born in Canton on July 28th, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Domingo and Agnes (Corrie) Silva. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Doris Weir and her brother Anthony Domingo Silva. Mary was a deeply family-oriented woman whose life revolved around the people she loved most. She loved her family tremendously and would do absolutely anything for them. Caring for others came naturally to Mary. Whether through her generosity, her kindness, or simply being there when someone needed her. She shared an especially close bond with her sister, Donna Betts, a relationship filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Mary was funny, spicy, and truly the life of the party. Her vibrant personality lit up every room she entered, and her laughter was contagious. She loved life and lived it fully, always taking care of those around her. She had a giving heart and a loving spirit, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her warmth, humor, and devotion to family will never be forgotten. Mary will be missed beyond words and remembered always for the love she gave so freely.
