Diamond- On February 3, 2022, Maryann Marie (Novak) Moore went to her heavenly home and reunited with her husband, Bud and grandson, Bradley. Maryann was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Harold and Julia Novak.
After graduating from Aurora High School, she went on to earn her LPN license at Marymount Hospital. She served as a pediatric nurse at Bedford Hospital and Robinson Memorial in the beginning of her career. She then took time off to be a devoted stay-at home mom. When her kids were preschool age, she and her friends felt a need for a preschool in the Southeast school district. Maryann co-founded Southeast Co-Op Preschool in 1978, and it is still operating to this day. Maryann was also a proud owner and operator of Triple M Electrical supply. She returned to utilizing her LPN skills in home healthcare for the last 15 years. Although she had many different jobs in which she put her heart and soul into, her most rewarding and prideful job was babysitting her grandkids for many years.
Maryann was a loving and giving person that opened her home to friends and family. Maryann enjoyed boating at Lake Erie with her family, hosting pool parties, and picnics at her home. Her talents in the kitchen will be missed by many. Maryann was the biggest supporter to her grandkids with their sports, performances, 4-H projects, and accomplishments.
Maryann is survived by her children, son David (Michelle) Moore, daughter Danette (Keith) Stepp, and daughter Missy (Zach) Morehead. Along with her brother Rudy Novak, and sisters Chris (Carl) Bauer, Beverly Novak, and Diane Herbert.
Maryann was a PROUD and doting grandmother (MIMI) to Mackenzie, Shelby, Dawson, Halle, Dylan, Bradley, Kane, and Julianna. Maryann was not only a Mimi to her grandkids, but a surrogate grandmother/mother figure, filling a much-needed void in other people lives.
Maryann's example of loving unconditionally will live on through generations. She lived her life through STRENGTH, DIGNITY, and FAITHFULNESS.
The family will receive friends and family on Monday, February 14, 2022, from 4 to 7p.m. at St. James Catholic Church (Our Lady of the Lakes) in North Jackson, Ohio, where a funeral mass will be held at 7 p.m. with Father David Merzweiler as celebrant.
