Michael Lee Miner, 75, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, July 29th, at Aultman Hospital. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on May 24, 1950, a son of the late Hoyt and Levonia (Croston) Miner. Michael was an avid lover of hunting, fishing, riding back roads, and old music. Michael spent countless sunrises in the quiet woods hunting, and many dusky evenings casting a line by the lake. He loved exploring the back-roads, if you rode with him, you would be sure to hear old music playing, such as Elvis or Hank Williams. Old country music wasn't just his favorite- it was how he connected to his roots and the values he held dear. Out of everything, he loved his great-grandchildren most of all.
