Mike D Spehar

Mike D Spehar, 73, of Canton passed away Wednesday, July 9th, in Aultman Hospital following a sudden illness. Mike was born in Canton on July 23, 1940, the son of the late Dan and Wilma (Hudlik) Spehar; also preceded in death by his wife Trina Spehar, died October 5, 2013; and four brothers Stephen, Frank, John, and Joseph Spehar. Employed as an equipment operator for United Foundries of Canton.  Former member St. Paul's Catholic Church, served in the U.S. Army and also in the U.S. Navy. Survived by two daughters Stephanie (Tom Canterbury) Pegg of Canton, Vicki (Vern) Berbeles of Phoenix, Arizona; sister Katie (Jim) Reale of Canton; two brothers Dan (Barb) Spear, George (Treva) Spehar of both of St. Clairsville; grandson Joshua Canterbury; and three grand dogs Samson, Sadie, and Carlos.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 14th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home at 7pm with Fr. Edward Stafford officiating.

Calling Hours will be held from 5-7pm Monday (same day) prior to service.

Private burial will be held in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery the following day.
