Mona E. Patterson, 72, of Canton, passed away Sunday, May 19th, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Canton on June 1, 1951, a daughter of the late Richard Matheny and Gladys (Jeter), also preceded in death by step-mother Freda Matheny, 3 sisters Marie Matheny, Rhonda Sanders, and Carol Kawamoto. Survived by 3 daughters Genella Lones, Rebecca Radcliff, Tabetha Pitts; 3 sisters Louise Cox, Geraldine Miller, and Ellen Friesel; as well as many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; family members; and friends. No services will be held at this time.
