Muriel  Grigor

Muriel  Grigor, 96, of Canton passed away Thursday, March 29th, 2012 peacefully at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Born in Hecla, Pennsylvania on April 14, 1915, the daughter of the late John Albert and Sophia (Smith) Hinzman also preceded in death by her husband Harold James Grigor, died February 1, 1981. Muriel lived in Canton since 1952 and enjoyed her winters in the Punta Gorda, Arcadia Florida area.

Muriel is survived by  daughter Shirley M. (John) Cheezan of Arcadia, FL;  son Arthur Grigor with whom she made her home; 4 grandchildren John (Becky) Cheezan of Arcadia, FL, Lorrie (Jay) Kreinbrink of Warsaw, IN, Jim (Terri) Cheezan of  Louisville, Sherie Cheezan of Canton, 10 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday April 3rd, in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home with her grandson John A. Cheezan officiating.
