Nancy Ellen Mayle, 64, of East Canton, passed away Tuesday, March 26th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Detroit, Michigan on August 18, 1959, a daughter of the late George and Lois (DeMeulenaere) Sheperd, also preceded in death by brother Lee Sheperd. Nancy was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She retired after 30 years of service at Job and Family Services. Survived by her loving husband Charles Mayle; daughter Maria Mayle, of East Canton; son Vance (Jaime) Mayle, of Louisville; 2 brothers Mike and Shawn. Nancy has always been a big supporter of her 3 step-grandchildren Mackenzie, Lukas, and Kylee Murphy. Her pride and joy was her grandson Carter Mayle, of East Canton. She found immense joy in cooking with him, cheering him on at his sporting and academic events and making him smile. The family would like to thank from the bottom of their hearts the staff and caregivers at Fresenius Kidney Care in Canton. She always spoke so highly of each of them as if they were her extended family. We appreciate the care and love you showed her over the last 8 years. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
