Neal Lewis Longanbach, 86 (31,579 days), of North Canton, passed away Friday, June 6th, at Aultman Compassionate Care. Born in Columbus on December 23, 1938, a son of the late Lewis and Carrie (Spahr) Longanbach. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by beloved wife of 45 years, Beverly (Baker) Longanbach, sister Carol, and his brother Bill. Neal graduated from The Ohio State University in 1958, prior to serving honorably in the U.S. Army. Following, he worked as a CPA certified public accountant for over 50 years and was a founding partner of Longanbach Giusti and Associates. Neal was an avid lover of baseball and enjoyed going on mission trips. He loved traveling to Africa (6 safaris), national parks, Oregon, and Lakeside, Ohio where he spent his summers. He is survived by daughter, Karen (Walter Poe) Longanbach; son, Todd (Tesy Mitchell) Longanbach; sister Ann Longanbach; 4 grandchildren; as well as other loving family members and friends. A graveside service will be held on July 26th at 10 AM in the Mifflin Cemetery • 218 Agler Rd, Gahanna, Ohio 43230. A celebration of life will be held on July 27th from 11 AM -1 PM at Catawba Island Club • 4235 E Beach club Rd. Port Clinton, Ohio 43452. Everyone is invited.
