Paraschiva Hurbean

Paraschiva "Patricia" Hurbean, 86, of Canton passed away Wednesday, July 9th, in the Mercy Medical Center following a brief illness. Patricia was born in Drasov, Romania on October 12, 1927, came to Canton in 1966, the daughter of the late Zaharie and Marie (Armenian) Hurbean and; also preceded in death by two sisters Joan Petroff, Sylvia Hurbean; and a brother John Hurbean. Employed for 29 years for the Mercy Medical Center retiring from the laundry department. Member of St. George Romanian Catholic Cathedral of Canton, Ladies Auxiliary, and the Senior Citizens both of the Church. Patricia's favorite past time was gardening and the outdoors. Survived by daughter Rodica (George) Suma, and grandson Christopher Suma all of Canton.

Funeral Services will be held at 10am Monday, July 14th in the St. George Romanian Catholic Cathedral 1123 44 ^th Street NE, Canton, Ohio, 44714, with Rev. Very Rev. Father Ovidiu Marginean officiating.

Friends may call Sunday 6-8pm also in the church where a Saracusta service will be held at 7:30pm.

Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
