Phillip Harris, 75, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, March 25th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Canton, on February 13, 1950, a son of the late William and Velma (Gregg) Harris. Phil served two tours honorably in the Vietnam war, and enjoyed participating in demolition derbies. Phil worked for Winters Manufacturing for 27 years. Survived by his daughter PJ Hall; 2 sons David (Megan)Green, Nathan (Catareena) Pitcher; brother Chuck Harris; 9 grandchildren Lexi, Lynnlea, Hunter, Victor, Meleah, Kevin, Shay, Dominique, Kordell; great-grandchild, Nyla; his furry side kick, Buddy; as well as other loving family members and friends. A Funeral service will be held in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home on Saturday, April 5th, at 1pm. Family and friends may call two hours prior up until the time of service.
