Ralph (Bud) Arnold, 75, of North Canton, a long time member of the Alliance Rifle club, passed away Tuesday, October 8th. Born in Canton, on June 30, 1949, a son of the late Leslie and Margaret (Young) Arnold. Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by brother Gary Arnold. Ralph proudly served in the U.S Army during the Vietnam war as a 92D (Aerial Delivery and Material). During his time in the military he received the Air medal, National Defense Service medal, Vietnam Service medal and the Jungle expert certificate. He worked his way up in the rank and became a Chief Warrant officer before retiring. Ralph then went on to college at the University of Akron where he obtained a bachelors degree in Science and engineering. He also attended the New York Institute of Photography where he graduated and opened his own photography business called Memories Unlimited Inc. Ralph had many accomplishments in life, receiving many completion certificates including Control Data learning Center, American Diabetes Associations, Rotorcraft/ Helicopter instructor course and Nation forensic league to name a few. Survived by daughter Eve (Marques) Jackson; sister JoAnn E. Whetzel; granddaughter Del'ylah Jackson as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Calling hours will be held in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 22nd from 2 PM - 4 PM.
