Rebecca Jane (Bolender) Beard, 76, of North Canton, passed away Friday, November 5th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Akron on August 10, 1945, a daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Reider)  Bolender, also preceded in death by loving husband Robert Beard, died April 2021, sister Beverly McKee, and 2 brothers Russel Bolender and Bruce Bolender. Enjoyed scrap booking. Survived by  daughter Dianne (Doug) Sanvido, of Carrollton; son John May, with whom she made her home; 3 grandchildren Samantha (Josh Creech) May, Jauni May, Amanda  Sanvido; 5 great-grandchildren Gideon Oester, Holden Creech, Anthony Harris, Vivian Harris, Andrew Weirich, as well as 8 nieces; Kathy Cherry, Mary Davis, Peggy Saunier, Kelly Cackowski, Paula Lane, Cheryl and Karen Bolender, Christy Bolender, and nephew Mike McKee. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 12th in the Waltner-SIMCHAK Funeral Home at 1:00 PM. In leu of flowers please make a donation to childhood diabetes.
