Richard Spencer JR "Junebug", 63, of Canton passed away Thursday, December 7th, at his home surrounded by loved ones. Born in Canton on October 10, 1960, a son of the late Richard Sr and Shirley Ruth (Dukes) Spencer, also preceded in death by brother Timothy Spencer, and 2 dogs Rosco and Vicious. He was affectionately known to his family as uncle Rich or Junebug. He was a Stark State graduate who worked as a chef for over 20 years, best known for his chicken gumbo and homemade pizza. He worked 9 years at New Destiny Treatment Center as a residential quality inspector. Also started the business, RS & GW Properties, sober living housing with George Wilkins. Survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Rose A (Newgent) Spencer, 2 sons Richard Spencer III and Riley  Jay Spencer; Estranged Brother David Spencer; 3 best friends Charles Hazly "Charlie Frank", Clarence Curry, and George Wilkins; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
