Richard S Male, 96, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, October 13th, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Cutler, Ohio on August 10, 1924, a son of the late Carl and Josephine (Norris) Male, also preceded in death by beloved wife Vietta V (Mayle) Male, died January 2012, sister Ada Mayle, 5 brothers Harley Mayle, Cecil Mayle, Kenneth Mayle, William Mayle and Homer Mayle. He served in the U.S. Navy in WW II. Survived by 2 sons John R Male, of Carrollton, David V (Patricia) Male, of Canton; 2 sisters Susie (Junior) Parsons, of Cutler, Goldie Kennedy, of Canton; brother Carl (Ella) Mayle, of Canton as well as 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4:30 PM on Friday, October 16th in the Canton Freewill Baptist Church in Canton.
