Richard Edward Simpson, 72, of Massillon, passed away Thursday, January 5th, at the Laurels of Massillon. Born in Cleveland on November 5, 1950, a son of the late Richard  Simpson and Marcela (Baker),  also preceded in death by brother Billy, and step-father Earle. He is survived by his wife Shirley R. (Johnson) Simpson; 2 sons Marcel Simpson, Michael Simpson; 2 step-daughters Candy Floyd, Roslyn Laury; step-son Dimitrius Laury; 3 sisters Terry, Michelle, Sandra; 2 brothers Rodney, William; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; as well as a host of aunts; cousins; nieces; nephews; family members; and friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on January 28th, in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4620 Mayfair road North Canton, Ohio 44720.

A repass will be held at 3:00 PM following services at Katana Buffet and grill, 4758 Everhard road NW Canton,Ohio 44718
