Richard B. Tournoux
Richard B. (Dick) Tournoux, 77, of Canton, passed away Friday, October 19th. in the Windsor Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Born in Canton, on September 26, 1935, the son of the late Bernard and Arline (Blanc) Tournoux and had lived in Louisville most of his life.
Employed for 10 years as a time keeper at Diebold and was the Owner/Operator of the former Tournoux Sports Shop in Louisville. Dick loved his family, watching his grandchildren with their sports and playing golf. A graduate of Louisville High School where he played football, basketball, and baseball until he became ill with polio in 1950. As an adult he became an avid golfer playing one-handed, he accomplished two holes in one despite his handicap.
Survived by his loving wife of 55 years Marilyn K. (Waltner) Tournoux to whom he married on October 26, 1957. Also survived by 2 daughters Michele A. (Brian) Ludwick of Land-O-Lakes, FL., Heidi L. (Michael) Mucci of Gahanna; 1 son Rev. Dr. Gregory A. (Nada) Tournoux of Springfield, IL; brother Gene (Susan) Tournoux of Louisville; 10 grandchildren Justin, Seton, Brigid, Bernadette Tournoux, Christopher (Jennifer), Ryan (Megan), Cory, Ashley Ludwick, Timothy & Alexiss Sylvester; and 1 great granddaughter Kyla Ann Ludwick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am, Tuesday, October 23rd. in St. Louis Catholic Church, 300 N. Chapel St., Louisville with Fr. Lawrence Frient officiating. No public visitation will be held. Burial in St. Louis Cemetery. Add your condolences on our website at www.waltner-simchak.com.
