Rickie Gene Parsons, 58, of Canton, passed away Wednesday, November 16th. Born in Canton on January 29, 1964, a son of Mary (Baker) Anthony and the late Albert Parsons, Sr., also preceded in death by 3 sisters Deboraha Saenz, Hazel Kennedy, Victoria Parsons and Toby. Rickie was a member of Canton Local Roofers Union 88. A Chicago Bears fan, he enjoyed fishing, working out at the YMCA and walking with his buddies at Monument Park. Besides his mother he is survived by 4 sisters: Cindy (Carl) Alley, of Canton, Marion (Dana) Parsons-Sonntag, of Canton, Donna Parsons, of Chicago, Tina (Randy) Young, of Canton; 4 brothers: Charles Kennedy, of Chicago, Albert Lee Parsons, of Canton, Albert E. (Carol) Parsons, of Chicago, Michael (Lisa) Parsons, of Chicago; and adopted son Richard Ray Stano as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends and beloved companion Calie. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, November 22nd in the Canton Freewill Baptist Church. Friends and family may call 2 hours prior also in the church. Burial in Forest Hill Cemetery to follow.
